Up to £1 million of Community Investment Funding is made available each year for local communities engaging in the GDF siting process.
Decisions on where the funding goes are made by the Community Investment Panel (CIP) and the panel is made up of local people who are volunteering their time and expertise.
Projects receive support for community facilities and services and the funding enables them to provide benefits to people living in the Search Area. Below you can read about the projects that have been awarded funding so far.
