The first issue of our newspaper was delivered to people living in the Search Area recently.
The GDF Voice will be produced quarterly and provide residents living in Theddlethorpe and Mablethorpe, and the surrounding villages with information on geological disposal and the work taking place in the area with the Community Partnership.

Our first issue featured articles covering what a GDF is and why geological disposal is the preferred international solution, and it explained what radioactive waste is and the long term safety of the project. It included feedback from the community following the events that have taken place and offered people the opportunity to be involved in the continuing conversations and work of the Community Partnership.
Tucked inside this newspaper was a Community Investment Funding (CIF) leaflet, providing people with information on the funding available to the local area and how they can apply. For more information on this, see our CIF information page
