The GDF Voice provides information on geological disposal and the work taking place in the area. You can pick up extra copies at the Coastal Centre, on Victoria Road in Mablethorpe. Drop in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and take the opportunity to chat to the engagement team between 10am – 1pm.

Our Voice newspaper is an opportunity to reflect all views on the GDF project. To start us off, this issue includes an opinion piece written by the campaign group, the Guardians of the East Coast (GOTEC) giving their thoughts. We are offering other groups and organisations the opportunity to submit articles and join the conversations around a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF). Find out how to do this on page 2.
Read about the projects chosen by the Partnership and awarded a share of £1 million Community Investment Funding (CIF). Eight wonderful projects with the potential to provide benefits to the area such as an adventure playground, a wildlife educational project, a sensory outreach pilot and a care worker pipeline. Year two funding is available, so why not apply for a worthwhile project in the area.
Local people take centre stage in our selection of engagement events with people so far and we look forward to continuing to do this next year. You don’t need to wait for an event and in this issue we also explain the different ways on offer for you to speak with a member of the team, ask your questions and find out more information.
