The GDF Theddlethorpe Community Investment Funding awarded Strubby, Beesby and Maltby Village Hall group £8,865.44 (March 2024) to enhance the look of their village hall for the benefit of local residents and visitors. They run monthly coffee morning visitors, which are around 40 members of the public and has a local population of 200 residents who use the hall.
Funding has enabled them to replace old and broken rainwater guttering and downpipes, preventing further damage to the building for years to come.
Funding was also awarded to equip the hall with a fully working fire alarm, with audible sirens and flashing beacons for those that are hard of hearing, and the purchase a large fridge so that they could put on more events in the Hall and attract more income from private hire bookings
